"Two weeks ago, we shipping management students went to greece for field trip.During the break I visited to the Acropolis with some of my colleges.
The Acropolis which is one of the historical place of the ancient city of Athens and its monuments universal symbol of classical spirit.
Areopagus Hill is a historic hunk of rock found in Athens near the entrance to the Acropolis and rocky outerop approximately 115m high is situated between three other hills. The Acropolis the Pnyx and the Kalanos agoraios. Its name probably derives from area the god of war and the areas Evinyes or Semnes(also called the Euneminds).under groud goddess of punishment and revenge.
The Areopagus is a bare marble hill across from the entrance to the Acropolis. Its ancient marble steps can be slippery.Near the base of the stairs is a bronze plaque with the Greek text of Paul's sermon. At the top there are nice views of the Acropolis".

In third day we visited Port Operation Control centre in Singapore and port maritime safety.
It was interesting for all of us to visit integrated simulation centre (ISC) which is very beneficial to train the seafarer and port employees.
One more interesting place to visit was the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and attending the seminar.Professor Cariou was one of the presenters who talk about the forecasting of trade.

Of course beside the official program MPA arranged some activities to know something about Singapore such visiting night Safari and we visited Santosa Island which very good place to visit and enjoy the life because it has underwater world show and Dolphins show.

Generally WMU was very successful to choose the right place to visit by PM students to learn from such developed port in order to transfer their knowledge from this visit to their respective countries and ports.
