Malmo Update

For WMU students living in Malmo, keeping up with local news is something
of a dilemma. While students have good access to international news through
cable television and the Internet, what is happening in Malmo itself can
remain a mystery. Not many students speak Swedish!
The Univeristy tries to fill the gap with a small newsletter called "Malmo
Update", keeping students in touch with local news, events and cultural
traditions. It is reprinted on this website to keep graduates informed
about what is going on in their Swedish "hometown". Malmo Update
is written by Lyndell Lundahl, Student Services Officer at WMU, and appears
most Fridays - except when she is on holidays or is very busy with other
things!
